Cant connect to the roll. Love the speakers but the app needs work.

It wont pick up that I have the speaker connected the app needs work. The speakers are amazing though, very good sound quality

The app was pretty cool while it worked but for some reason it just bagged out and stopped responding. Every time I try to open it and use the app it asks me to be sure that the speaker is connected and on which it already is. Hopefully they fix this problem. $123 speaker should have an operational application.

Whats the use of this as whenever I need to turn off or on the speaker I always need to go to Bluetooth. Too bad Logitech is not updating it nor the speaker firmware.

The speaker is connected and playing music (which btw the speaker sounds great) but the application doesnt see that its connected. Just keeps asking me to connect the speaker.

Like many of the previous reviewers, I had issues with my speaker not showing up in the app, but still connecting to my phone and playing music. This latest update didn’t fix that, but I found out how. You have to reset the UE Roll. Just hold the “-“ button and power button until you hear a tone. Then reconnect the BT and it should work with the app again!

Love the speaker, but the smart Bluetooth cannot turn it on. Works for my megaboom, and Ive already tried replacing the hardware and resetting the roll, but it cannot turn on or use its alarm function...hoping theyll finally fix this soon!

This app has the basics covered, even if its a bit janky here and there (a randomly different font for the continue button, really?). A feature like remote power, though, really would work better as a widget (or as some have said, a watch app). It would be great to see an update that added this.

The ue roll app needs a update it was working fine a coupe days ago when I got it, now it wont connect to the Bluetooth anymore and the app doesnt work please fix this problem.

Love my new speaker but this app fails to realize that my speaker is connected. Have tried pretty much every possible troubleshoot I can and no luck. Update and maybe 5 stars?

Older iPhones may have no trouble using this app to connect, but newer ones (6 and higher) will have strong difficulty. Dont get this app until they do a huge overhaul of it.

The app failed to keep up with new versions of the operating system. The app no longer recognizes either of my speakers and therefore is useless. Have to revert to connecting through apples Bluetooth settings which makes it like any other Bluetooth speaker.

I really want to like these. They worked great for the first two weeks then it all fell to crap! Dont double up when I need them for my store. Wasting so much of my time. App not working properly and even after refreshing etc. Its horrible because I just want them to work according to their directions.

Im glad to see this app allows users to update their UE Rolls firmware. Hopefully some future update will add ONE FEATURE THATS PAINFULLY LACKING—the ability to skip forward/backward to next/previous tracks directly from the speaker. And this seems like a simple fix: double-tap (or hold) "+" to skip forward to next track; double-tap (or hold) "–" to skip backward to previous track. Until then Ill just quietly brood and listen to this otherwise wonderful speaker.

Doesnt connect reliably. Ridiculous. Fix this please.

Ive had the UE ROLL speaker for a few months and everything was cool with it until a couple of days ago that the app would not connect to the speaker. I can hear the sounds and music I play with my IPad but cannot make the app work. I tried everything and cannot make it work. Its frustrating...! Iwant to use it as my alarm like I was until a couple of days ago and it will not show the alarm or any features on the app.

Wish UE should make a firmware update to use double tap "+" to skip forward a track and double tap "-" to go back a track on the speaker and speakerphone capabilities ASAP! Other than that, app works alright.

I had my speaker for a few months and loved it. I decided to buy another so I could pair them both. I got them both paired and then after a few days neither of them would connect to Bluetooth. Good sound quality, but not reliable.
